The global financial tsunami struck, and while many companies were crying out about the financial winter, Hansheng had already ushered in a spring of development. In 2008, Hansheng's export volume increased by 36% year-on-year, achieving its goal of stable development.

Increased orders? Increased production lines? Yes, you heard correctly. While many companies are considering how to reduce the impact of the financial crisis and ensure the normal operation of their businesses, Hansheng is thinking about how to increase production and meet customer needs.
Huang Linghua, Production Manager of Zhuhai Hansheng Technology Co., Ltd.: "From December last year to now, I feel that our production is in serious short supply. Our sales department told me that we still owe nearly 20,000 kilometers to our customers, the three major operators."
He Xibao, Production Department, Zhuhai Hansheng Technology Co., Ltd.: "Now, to ensure customer needs, we have basically reached the limit in terms of speed."
Currently, Hansheng's production lines operate 24/7, and employees work in three shifts, but this still cannot meet market demand. However, at the beginning of the financial crisis, Hansheng, like other companies, also faced great difficulties. The rapid shrinkage of international markets, especially in Europe and America, and the sharp fluctuations in domestic and international raw material prices made the already fiercely competitive market even more brutal. In October 2008, Hansheng experienced its first significant monthly loss in over 20 years of operation. In the face of the sluggish economy, Hansheng relied on technological innovation and its own brand to firmly hold its market share.
Shou Weichun, Chairman of Zhuhai Hansheng Technology Co., Ltd.: "On the one hand, through our technological innovation and independent intellectual property rights, we ushered in a favorable economic situation. At the same time, the state issued 3G licenses to the three major operators, resulting in a large influx of orders."
In addition to the vast market prospects brought by 3G, Hansheng's timely adjustment of its market strategy also bought it valuable time to cope with the crisis.
Shou Weichun, Chairman of Zhuhai Hansheng Technology Co., Ltd.: "We have also made some adjustments in exports. For example, the European and American markets have been somewhat affected, so we shifted from the European and American markets to the Middle East and Far East markets, and to the Asian market, with very good results. The situation is quite good. Look, in just two minutes, another vehicle has arrived."
Looking at the trucks coming and going in the cargo yard, Shou Weichun is full of confidence. Shou Weichun told reporters that in January 2009, Hansheng's sales increased by 20% compared to December 2008, and February and March saw increases of 15% over the previous month, respectively. It is expected to maintain a relatively stable growth rate this year.
