From 1985, a small processing plant that relied solely on "OEM" production to earn profits, to now being "number one in Asia and number two globally" in the same industry, technological innovation has put Hansheng on the fast track to development.

Independent innovation has always been the key to Hansheng's success. The 3G feeder cable being produced behind me is a good example. Two years ago, Hansheng people had already keenly captured this technological development opportunity, so they invested in research. By January of this year, when the state issued 3G licenses, they had already seized the market opportunity, and now production is in short supply.
Technological innovation has put Hansheng at the forefront of the market and far ahead of other competitors in the same industry. Looking back, from the initial OEM production to the shift to technological innovation, Shou Weichun still remembers the hardships. When Hansheng focused on the research and development and manufacturing of physical high-foam large-section coaxial cables for use in mobile communication base stations, it encountered technological barriers. Hansheng hoped to seek cooperation with individual manufacturers in Europe and America, but was rejected.

For emerging technologies, for example, things that foreigners can do but Chinese cannot, it's impossible to rely on foreigners to teach us, and they won't teach us either. We have to rely on our own efforts, our own research, self-reliance, and strive for excellence. Gradually improve it step by step. At first, we slowly follow the level of others, keep up closely, and gradually reach it, and even surpass it.
Shou Weichun believes that there is no savior in the world, everything depends on oneself. Feeling one's way forward, Hansheng people have overcome numerous technological hurdles.

The difficulty lies in what we should do after failure. When we fail again, how do we find a breakthrough point in the shortest time? Others may take one or two years to find a breakthrough, but when we reach a critical point, we can find the breakthrough point in the shortest time, maybe in just a few months, and then solve one problem after another.

After overcoming several technological challenges, including solid core polyethylene insulation, chemically foamed polyethylene insulation, and lotus root core polyethylene insulation, in 1995, Hansheng Company became the first domestic manufacturer to successfully use nitrogen to achieve physical high foaming, and was warmly welcomed by the market. Now, Hansheng's products dominate the domestic market. This year, the company will continue to increase its support for technological innovation.
