On June 27th, at Zhuhai's 90th anniversary celebration of the founding of the Communist Party of China, Shou Weichun, Party secretary and chairman of Zhuhai Hansheng Technology Co., Ltd., was awarded the honorary title of "Model Communist Party Member".
Shou Weichun led Zhuhai Hansheng Technology Co., Ltd. for 26 years, steadily carrying out Party building work, tirelessly exploring practical innovations in the construction of Party organizations in non-public enterprises, promoting technological development and enterprise progress through Party building, and creating the remarkable "Hansheng Miracle".
The "Hansheng Miracle" gives us profound enlightenment: For non-public enterprises to develop, Party building is indispensable. As long as we consciously uphold and strengthen the core leadership of the Party organization, making the Party organization the backbone of the enterprise and Party members the leaders of the enterprise, with the Party committee providing support and guidance, we can create miracles in the economic work of the enterprise. Hansheng has set an example for us through unremitting practice.

Zhuhai Hansheng Technology Co., Ltd. is a joint-stock enterprise primarily with private capital, established in 1985. Its main products are radio frequency coaxial cables used in mobile communication systems and cable television systems. For 26 years since its establishment, the company has always consciously upheld and strengthened the core leadership of the Party organization, leading the enterprise from an initially small cable factory producing "OEM" products for foreign companies to become the "second largest in the world and the largest in Asia" in the field of coaxial communication cables, striving to become the world champion.

100% of middle and senior management are Party members
Ensuring the absolute leadership of the Party

At the beginning of Hansheng's establishment, there were only a dozen people and 3 Party members. The first thing done by the founder, Shou Weichun, a Communist Party member from Shanghai, was to establish a temporary Party group and issue the resounding slogan: "Hold the fiery Party flag high in Hansheng".
Hansheng's monthly Party organizational life (1-2 times a month) has never been interrupted, Party studies have never stopped, and Party member development work has never been relaxed. The Party organization has continuously grown and developed, and today there are nearly 160 Party members.
In Hansheng's Party committee, the chairman and general manager serve as the Party secretary. The six members of the Party committee are all senior leaders of the company, responsible for managing the company's production, market, technology, personnel, and trade union work, and hold a dominant position in the board of directors, ensuring that the Party organization substantively participates in the company's decision-making and management.
The company clearly stipulates that all major issues involving the appointment, assessment, education, training, and supervision of cadres are decided by the Party committee meeting or the enlarged Party committee meeting. The company's Party committee also solicits public opinions through mass forums and public announcements. Currently, 100% of Hansheng's 21 senior and middle-level managers are Party members.
Hansheng Party Committee is a model grassroots Party organization in Guangdong Province and Zhuhai City, and was named a national advanced grassroots Party organization by the Organization Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China in 2006.

Cultivate backbone members into Party members

The Hansheng Party Committee clearly put forward the slogan of "cultivating backbone members into Party members and forging Party members into exemplary figures" and "planting the red flag in every team", carefully building a team of backbone members who are both red and expert, and who are especially capable of fighting.
The company's Party committee holds party class study sessions every year, including sending cadres to the municipal Party school and the Yan'an Cadre College for party class training. In recent years, party class education has been conducted twice a year among ordinary workers. Every "July 1st", combined with party class training, party history education and competitions are conducted to strengthen knowledge of party history.
The Party committee holds meetings every month to discuss, and each branch holds meetings every quarter to report, actively recruiting employees who meet the standards of Party members. At the same time, it requires active members and probationary members to make ideological reports every quarter. Adhering to the principle of "developing one when mature", ensuring the development of Party members every year.
The company spares no expense in selecting Party members with good political ideology, high knowledge level, strong management ability, and strong professional skills for further study in developed countries such as Europe and the United States, and after completing their studies, they return to the company to hold important positions.
Since 2002, the company has consistently sent newly hired university graduates, hundreds of cadres and worker backbones, to military camps for rigorous military training every summer for eight consecutive years, cultivating a strong sense of discipline and team spirit among employees, creating an iron army that is especially able to endure hardship, attack difficulties, and dedicate itself.

The Hansheng Party Committee closely follows the central government's deployment, adheres to the instructions and requirements of the higher-level Party Committee, closely integrates with economic work, promptly conducts situational education, clearly sets out the work guidelines and objectives for each period and stage, and arranges specific work tasks for each stage.
In the second half of 2008, the international financial tsunami struck. Hansheng rose to the challenge, expanding against the trend. It invested hundreds of millions of yuan in land acquisition, construction, and equipment purchases, rapidly expanding its production capacity and establishing a favorable position in domestic and international market competition. Entering 2009, in accordance with the central government's call to expand domestic demand and maintain growth, and coinciding with the national issuance of 3G licenses, Hansheng timely shifted its sales strategy, striving for 3G construction, seizing the commanding heights of the market, and finally achieving the best performance in the company's history in this difficult year.
Since 2010, in accordance with the central government's deployment of economic restructuring, Hansheng has formulated a three-year development plan for technological innovation, actively engaged in new product research and development and the improvement of old product quality to world-leading levels, achieving simultaneous growth in research, production, and sales.
In order to meet the national demand for the vigorous development of subways and high-speed railways, Hansheng has developed a more technologically advanced cutting-edge product—leakage cable. Hansheng technicians have developed a leakage cable simulation test system with independent intellectual property rights, whose testing accuracy is ten times higher than that of similar international products, enabling Hansheng's products to be rapidly promoted domestically. This product has been applied in the Swiss high-speed railway Alpine tunnel and has received international acclaim.
Hansheng Cable has become a world-renowned brand recognized by domestic and international markets. Hansheng has successively won honors such as National High-tech Enterprise and Guangdong Provincial Innovative Enterprise. All of this is the fruitful result of the hard work of the Hansheng technology team, mainly composed of Communist Party members.
Currently, Hansheng's scientific and technological workers are working towards the requirements of the three-year development plan for technological innovation, focusing on the development of new projects such as optical cables and high-temperature cables, firmly following the path from "Made in China" to "Created in China," gradually transitioning from a follower of advanced levels to a leader, and another leapfrog growth is imminent.

Shou Weichun once said: "Over the years, it's less that I've been diligently running a business, and more that I've been diligently cultivating a culture." He believes that advanced culture is the highest realm of enterprise development and even social development.
Entering Hansheng, people are invariably shocked and impressed by its civilization and beauty. Here, one can see traces of socialist red culture everywhere, while simultaneously sensing the fusion of ancient Chinese civilization and Western modern civilization.
The large slogan "Work with vigor, strive to be the best, build Chinese-style socialism economically, quickly, well, and thriftily" in front of the office building demonstrates the company's general route. The slogans "Revitalize China's national industry, catch up with world-advanced levels" are visible everywhere in the office building, workshops, restaurants, and dormitories, representing the company's goals. "A sense of accomplishment in work, a sense of happiness in life, a sense of progress in learning, and a greater sense of dignity in life" are the goals of the employees, while "If you don't contribute, I don't contribute, who will contribute? If you take, I take, from whom do we take?" is the shared value of Hansheng employees. When Wang Yang, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and Secretary of the Guangdong Provincial Committee, visited Hansheng and saw this sentence, he was deeply moved and said: "This sentence is written so well, the people of the Special Economic Zone should have this spirit."
The company holds annual employee representative meetings, implements open factory management, continuously improves employee benefits, and creates first-class working and living conditions. Hansheng has launched a variety of extracurricular activities, allowing employees to deeply feel the warmth of the Hansheng family. As a representative of Hansheng culture, the Hansheng Art Troupe is a cultural light cavalry serving society and spreading civilization.

In 2007, Hansheng was named a national model enterprise for harmonious labor relations by the All-China Federation of Trade Unions and the Ministry of Labor and Social Security.
On November 15, 2010, Wen Jiabao, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and Premier of the State Council, visited Hansheng for inspection. He earnestly told everyone that in the field of science and technology and invention and creation, there is only one first, not two. This is the truth. You are only one step away. I hope that everyone will work together to strive to reach the world's first place as soon as possible. The encouragement and urging of the Premier inspired Hansheng to strive forward with even greater effort.
