This honor is the highest affirmation of the enterprise's lawful tax payment and honest operation, and is an everlasting gold signboard for the enterprise." Yesterday morning, the municipal State Taxation Bureau and the municipal Local Taxation Bureau jointly commended the top 100 enterprises with the highest tax contributions in our city in 2008, and selected the top 10 enterprises from among the best, including Gree Electric Appliances, Zhuhai Hansheng Technology, Zhuhai Power Plant, Zhuhai Huafa Real Estate, Guangfa Fund, Canon Zhuhai, Zhuhai Power Supply Bureau, Zhuhai Wanbang Pharmaceutical, Zhuhai Acetate Fiber, and Zhuhai Telecom.
It is understood that this month is the 18th National Tax Publicity Month, themed "Tax Revenue Development for People's Livelihood." The municipal State Taxation Bureau and the municipal Local Taxation Bureau jointly selected the top 100 taxpayers in the city in 2008, and based on the performance of the top 100 taxpayers in recent years, selected the top 10 taxpayers to advocate lawful and honest tax payment to the whole society by setting up examples.
Liu Xiaolong, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and executive vice mayor, attended the commendation meeting and presented awards to the enterprises. He hoped that the award-winning top 100 and top 10 enterprises would play a leading role, and that they would adhere to lawful and honest tax payment, especially during difficult times; that the tax authorities would adhere to the combination of management and service, and provide high-quality and efficient tax services to the majority of taxpayers; and that the whole society would support and cooperate with the work of the tax authorities to establish a good network of tax assistance and protection.
