Summary of Hansheng Company's Grand Red Song Concert "Sing Revolutionary Songs, Sing the Great Motherland" in 2009
On November 9, 2009, the Hansheng Theater was filled with resounding songs and thunderous applause, the audience's emotions reaching a fever pitch. This was the scene of Hansheng Company's grand red song concert celebrating the 60th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, titled "Sing Revolutionary Songs, Sing the Great Motherland."
This red song concert, meticulously prepared over a month, was truly passionate and unprecedented in scale. Themed "Carry Forward Tradition, Forge Ahead, Technological Innovation, and the Progress of Hansheng," the concert aimed to inspire patriotism among employees and enhance their confidence and courage in innovation and progress through the singing of revolutionary songs.
Six departments participated in the concert: each party branch and the art troupe, totaling 223 participants with 100% participation from cadres. The six departments each performed six songs on themes of the Long March, the Anti-Japanese War, the founding of the People's Republic of China, Reform and Opening Up, the Three Represents, and the Scientific Outlook on Development. They used various forms such as recitation, solo, and chorus, emphasizing interaction between performers and the audience. Over the month, departments utilized their free time for repeated rehearsals, meticulous planning, and creative work in costumes, lighting, stage design, props, and performance. The art troupe's performances were lively and moving; the sales department's performance was passionate and unique. The singing of the national anthem, conducted by General Manager Shou Weichun, brought the atmosphere to its peak.
Through the red song concert, those who rarely sang loudly sang, those who couldn't recite eloquently recited, and those who couldn't conduct conducted with great skill. It inspired revolutionary enthusiasm, fostered team spirit, liberated thought, and encouraged self-transcendence, leading to progress in practice and improvement through participation. The red song concert became an innovative practice in thought and action for Hansheng employees. Many employees excitedly commented: This red song concert is the most successful event in Hansheng's history!
This year, in the bright spring sunshine, Guangdong Provincial Party Secretary Wang Yang, Zhuhai Municipal Party Secretary Gan Lin, and other provincial and municipal leaders visited Hansheng, planting the seeds of revolution. For more than half a year, Hansheng employees, following the instructions of the leaders, have steadily progressed in the in-depth study and implementation of the Scientific Outlook on Development, achieving good results. Today, in the golden autumn, we sing heartily, singing revolutionary songs, singing the great motherland, singing the great party, singing with passion, singing with confidence, singing a new world! This is not only a grand cultural feast, but also an important political activity for Hansheng employees to review revolutionary history and study and implement the Scientific Outlook on Development.
