The Yiwu Railway is one of the main frameworks of China's "eight vertical and eight horizontal" railway network, an important part of the Shanghai-Hanzhong-Chengdu expressway, and an important transportation link connecting the east, central, and west of China. The line is 377 kilometers long, starting from Yichang City, Hubei Province in the east and ending at Wanzhou District, Chongqing City in the west. It passes through ten counties and cities (districts) under the jurisdiction of Yichang City, Hubei Province, Enshi Prefecture, and Wanzhou District, Chongqing City, running through the heart of the Wuling Mountains. There are 159 tunnels and 253 bridges along the entire line, with bridges and tunnels accounting for 74% of the total length. The Yiwu Railway has a design speed of 200 kilometers per hour, with a total investment of 22.57 billion yuan. It has created many records in the history of railways in China and even the world, and it is therefore called a "bridge and tunnel museum" by the industry.
The Yiwu Railway is a high-standard electrified trunk railway built in a rugged mountainous area in China, which puts higher demands on the signal coverage of the mobile public network along the railway. During the construction process, the three operators, Hubei Mobile, Unicom, and Telecom, adopted a "three-network integration" design scheme for the public network coverage of the line, that is, the networks of the three operators are covered by a single leaky cable. This places extremely high demands on the performance indicators of the leaky cable, especially the third-order intermodulation. The geological and climatic conditions along the Yiwu Railway are harsh, and the distance between the caverns reserved during tunnel construction is large, which puts even stricter requirements on the transmission distance, coupling loss, and transmission attenuation of the leaky cable. The leaky cable independently developed and manufactured by our company has the characteristics of low attenuation, small coupling attenuation, strong radiation capability, stable field strength, and small dynamic range. It not only meets the relevant requirements of the railway standard TB/T 3201-2008, but also fully meets the standards and requirements of the operators. With its strong technological innovation capabilities and first-class product quality, Zhuhai Hansheng has become the only domestic leaky cable manufacturer to win the bid for the special network wireless dispatching system project of the Yiwu Railway, and also the only domestic leaky cable manufacturer to win the bid for the three-network co-construction project of the three major operators' railways, setting a precedent for the three-network co-construction of leaky cables in railway public network construction projects.
