Zhuhai Hansheng Company's Tomb-Sweeping Activity at the Martyrs' Cemetery during Qingming Festival
On the afternoon of April 4, 2014, more than 200 cadres and employees of Zhuhai Hansheng Company, under the organization and leadership of the Hansheng Party Committee, conducted a tomb-sweeping activity at the Zhuhai Martyrs' Cemetery to commemorate the great martyrs who lie in this special economic zone, who fought bravely and shed blood for the rise of the Chinese nation and the stable and happy life of the people in the special economic zone.
As a pilot site for the second batch of Party's mass line education and practice activities, the Hansheng Party Committee's Qingming Festival tomb-sweeping activity at the Martyrs' Cemetery, themed "In memory of revolutionary martyrs, practicing the mass line," deeply commemorated the revolutionary martyrs while further implementing the in-depth development of the Party's mass line education and practice activities, inspiring the patriotism of Party members, cadres, and employees, and inheriting and carrying forward the glorious revolutionary traditions.
The Hansheng Party Committee secretary and all Party committee members and branch secretaries participated in the tomb-sweeping activity. At the beginning of the activity, the host recounted the situation of the Martyrs' Cemetery and the glorious deeds of the martyrs. Afterwards, Comrade Shou Weichun, the Party Committee secretary, gave a speech, commemorating the efforts made by the martyrs for our happy life today, and calling on all Party members and the masses to continue carrying forward the fine traditions of the martyrs and contributing their strength under the sky of this special economic zone. After that, everyone observed a moment of silence and paid their respects to the martyrs. Representatives of the company's scientific and technological personnel, veteran employees, and college students spoke, expressing their deep emotion at the heroic deeds of the revolutionary martyrs, stating that they are the strong backbone of our Chinese nation, and that future generations will surely follow in their footsteps, showing loyalty and determination, and contributing to the construction of Zhuhai. Finally, all personnel paid their respects to the monument, presented wreaths to the revolutionary martyrs, and offered flowers to the martyrs one by one.
