Han Sheng Art Troupe supports the Second World Congress of Cantonese People

The Second World Congress of Cantonese People opened in Zhuhai on December 3, 2015. The theme of this congress was "Cantonese People Worldwide, Together Achieving the Chinese Dream." It was jointly organized by the Cantonese People's Association and the Zhuhai Overseas Chinese Affairs Office and Zhuhai Overseas Chinese Federation. This was a high-profile international event, with approximately 2500 Cantonese people from 53 countries and regions around the world in attendance. Hu Chunhua, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and Secretary of the Guangdong Provincial Committee, and Ho Hau Wah, Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, attended the opening ceremony.
The Hansheng Art Troupe was invited to participate and served as the main dance troupe for the evening's performance. In addition to performing the theme dance and some accompanying dances, they also presented their original dance, "Water Wedding," which received warm applause from the guests.
