Hansheng Company Successfully Holds 2019 Employee Representative Conference
and Trade Union Member Representative Conference
On the afternoon of February 21, 2019, the Hansheng Company Employee Representative Conference and Trade Union Member Representative Conference opened. Ren Weiqiang, the organizational minister of Doumen District Federation of Trade Unions, was invited to attend. 87 employee representatives attended the conference, and all cadres and worker backbones attended the meeting as observers. The conference established a presidium, whose members consisted of relevant leaders from the Party committee, trade union, and administration, as well as employee representatives. The presidium elected Chairman and Party Secretary Shou Weichun as the executive chairman of the conference and presided over the meeting.
Guided by Xi Jinping's Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, the conference comprehensively summarized the work of 2018, analyzed the current situation, and deployed the work tasks for 2019. It called on all cadres and employees to be confident, proactive, and responsible, to firmly hold onto their goals without slackening, to overcome difficulties without being tired, and to make every effort to complete various targets for 2019.
The conference listened to the company's 2018 work report and the trade union's 2018 work report. It also deliberated and voted on the "2019 Company Work Plan," "2019 Trade Union Work Plan," "Proposal on Adding Comrade Zhang Liang as a Company Trade Union Committee Member," and "Proposal on the Implementation of the Fourth Revised Version of the Employee Code of Conduct." The conference also deliberated on the "Report on the Use of Hansheng Trade Union Funds in 2018."
The conference commended the advanced collectives and individuals of the company in 2018, calling on all employees to learn from advanced examples and contribute to the economic development of the enterprise and Zhuhai's economic construction.
The conference organized speeches by employee representatives and representatives of advanced employees, who, with a sense of ownership, strived to achieve success in the new era.
The conference issued a letter of appeal, urging all employees to work together with one heart and one mind to meet challenges and strive for excellence!
Under the strong leadership of the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core, all Hansheng employees, with a high sense of responsibility and historical mission, have worked together and strived to make their own contributions to promoting the great cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics. The meeting requires the representatives and all employees to further emancipate their minds, seek truth from facts, meet challenges, and reform and innovate, starting from a new starting point and creating a new situation.
